PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: September 26, 2026

THE SHORT VERSION. We use information to operate Campaign Adventure, build and follow up on campaign plans, provide requested emails, process payment authorizations, and understand how the site performs. We do not publicly post the personal contact information or private campaign-planning details you enter. We do not sell that submitted information. We do use service providers to run the site and may disclose information when necessary to provide the service, run an approved advertising campaign, protect the business, or comply with law.

1. WHO THIS POLICY COVERS

This Privacy Policy explains how Donut News Inc. (“DPM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information through the DONUT Press Media Campaign Adventure website at advertise.donutpressmedia.co, including saved-campaign links, campaign checkout, and related communications.

It does not replace the separate privacy notices of services you choose to visit, such as Stripe or Calendly. Our Terms & Conditions govern campaign reservations and advertising services.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you provide

  • Campaign-planning information: newsletter-ad experience, audience type, audience segments, ideal-customer description, campaign goals, placement choice, budget, and optional timing details.
  • Business contact information: name, work email, company website, and optional telephone number.
  • Email and marketing preferences: the email used to send a saved campaign or completed review and whether you choose to subscribe to The ROAS Report.
  • Communications: information you provide when you contact us, reply to our team, or schedule a meeting.
  • Order information: campaign selections, estimated delivery, Terms acceptance, order status, payment-authorization status, and related operational records.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information, confidential credentials, or personal information about children or other people in open-text campaign fields.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information: browser and device type, screen size, language, page title, page path, referring page, approximate location derived from network information, and interactions with the site.
  • Analytics identifiers: first-party Google Analytics cookies and similar measurement identifiers. Our custom analytics events use categorical or banded values and are designed not to send names, email addresses, phone numbers, company URLs, free-text answers, exact budgets, order or payment identifiers, or resume tokens.
  • Security and reliability information: request timing, event and delivery status, and one-way derived identifiers used for rate limiting and duplicate suppression.

Information from service providers

We may receive payment status and transaction identifiers from Stripe; delivery status from Google Workspace/Gmail; subscription status from Kit; lead-processing status from monday.com; and meeting details or attribution information from Calendly when you choose to book a call.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use personal information to:

  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Campaign Adventure;
  • calculate and display campaign estimates and restore saved progress;
  • send a campaign plan or return link when you request one;
  • contact you about the campaign plan, answer questions, schedule a call, and prepare or deliver advertising services;
  • create and administer an order and a Stripe-hosted payment authorization;
  • send operational confirmations to you and campaign details to the DPM teams responsible for follow-up and delivery;
  • subscribe you to The ROAS Report only when you leave the separate newsletter option selected;
  • measure traffic, starts, stage completion, drop-off, and other site performance; and
  • comply with law, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect our rights and the safety of others.

4. WHEN WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION

We do not publish or make publicly available the personal contact information or private campaign-planning details you enter in Campaign Adventure. We do not sell that submitted information for money.

We may disclose information privately to:

  • DPM personnel and contractors who need it to evaluate, plan, sell, support, or deliver a campaign;
  • Service providers that host and secure the site, provide analytics, send requested email, manage leads, support scheduling, process payments, or maintain operational systems;
  • Publishers and media partners when needed to plan, produce, approve, or deliver an advertising campaign you choose to run;
  • Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
  • A successor or transaction participant in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

If you proceed with a campaign, the advertisement itself may identify your company or brand and contain materials you approve for publication. That is different from publishing the private contact details or planning information entered on this site.

5. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND EXTERNAL SERVICES

  • Manus: managed hosting, database and file infrastructure, and integrated site analytics.
  • Google: Google Analytics 4 for website measurement and Google Workspace/Gmail for operational email.
  • Stripe: hosted checkout, payment-method collection, fraud prevention, and manual-capture payment authorization.
  • monday.com: Website Lead routing and customer-relationship management.
  • Kit: The ROAS Report subscription processing when you choose that option.
  • Calendly: external meeting scheduling and source-attribution parameters when you follow a scheduling link.

These providers process information under their own contracts and privacy notices. For example, see the Google Privacy Policy, Stripe Privacy Policy, and Calendly Privacy Notice.

6. ANALYTICS, COOKIES, LOCAL STORAGE, AND SAVED LINKS

Campaign Adventure uses Google Analytics 4 and Manus analytics to measure visits and site interactions. In a clean browser, Google Analytics sets first-party _ga cookies. Analytics providers may also process device, browser, network, page, and referrer information under their own policies.

Your browser stores an in-progress campaign in local storage (localStorage) so you can return on the same device. If you request an emailed campaign, we create a random-looking, time-limited return link. The server stores a one-way hash of the return token, and the site removes the token from the visible URL before analytics and the application start. Checkout-return tokens are handled similarly.

You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser. Doing so may affect analytics, autosave, resume, or return-from-checkout behavior. Google also offers a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. EMAIL AND CONTACT

If you ask us to save or email a campaign, proceed to checkout, schedule a meeting, or otherwise contact us, we may use the information you provide to respond and follow up about that request. Operational messages can include a requested return link, campaign summary, payment-authorization status, or next steps.

The ROAS Report is optional. You can uncheck the subscription option before submitting an email form and unsubscribe from newsletter email using the link in the message. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop operational messages about a campaign or transaction you requested.

8. PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payment details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout page, not into Campaign Adventure. Stripe handles card, bank, or other payment-method credentials under its own privacy notice. We provide Stripe with information needed to create and administer the checkout and keep order identifiers, status, authorized or captured amount, and related lifecycle timestamps. Campaign Adventure uses manual capture: a successful checkout authorizes the selected amount, and DPM captures funds only after the campaign plan is approved as described in the Terms.

9. RETENTION

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including campaign follow-up and delivery, customer service, security, accounting, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and enforcement of agreements. Retention varies by record:

  • saved-campaign return tokens expire after 90 days;
  • checkout-result tokens expire after 7 days;
  • old rate-limit records are removed after their operational window;
  • Google Analytics retains event data associated with cookies, user identifiers, or advertising identifiers for 2 months and user data for 14 months; its current setting resets the user-data retention period when there is new user activity;
  • abandoned pre-payment orders with no Stripe PaymentIntent or financial activity can be deleted after 30 days;
  • campaign and order records may be kept longer when needed to follow up, deliver services, keep financial or legal records, resolve disputes, or protect the business; and
  • local browser drafts remain until the site or the visitor clears them.

Service providers may retain information under their own instructions, settings, legal obligations, and privacy notices.

10. YOUR CHOICES AND PRIVACY RIGHTS

We honor verified requests from U.S. visitors to access, correct, or delete their personal information. Depending on where you live and whether the applicable law covers our business and your interaction, you may also have rights to request a portable copy of personal information and to appeal a request decision. Some laws provide additional rights concerning sale, targeted advertising, profiling, or certain sensitive information.

To make a privacy request, email contact@mydonut.co with “Campaign Adventure Privacy Request” in the subject line and describe the request and the email address or campaign involved. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. If applicable law gives you an appeal right, reply with “Privacy Appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may retain limited information needed to document and honor a request or where another law permits or requires retention.

11. U.S. STATE DISCLOSURES

In the preceding 12 months, the categories of personal information described in this policy may have been collected from you, your browser or device, and the service providers involved in your interaction. We use and disclose those categories for the business purposes described above. Recipient categories include hosting and security providers, analytics providers, payment processors, email providers, CRM and scheduling providers, DPM personnel and contractors, and publishers or media partners when needed to deliver an approved campaign.

Using California’s category names, this information may include:

  • Identifiers and contact information, such as name, email, telephone number, company website, online identifiers, and network-derived identifiers;
  • Commercial information, such as campaign selections, budget, estimates, order records, and payment-authorization status;
  • Internet or other electronic activity, such as page visits, referrer, browser, device, and interactions with Campaign Adventure;
  • Approximate location information derived from network information;
  • Professional or business information, such as company and business contact details; and
  • Inferences, such as likely campaign interests or advertising needs based on your selections.

We do not ask you to enter sensitive personal information in Campaign Adventure. Stripe may collect payment credentials directly on its hosted checkout page; DPM does not receive full card or bank credentials.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by applicable state privacy laws, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We use analytics providers for measurement rather than cross-context behavioral advertising. Whether a particular state-law right applies depends on the law, our business’s coverage, and the context of your interaction. If these practices change, we will update this policy and provide any required privacy choices.

12. SECURITY

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including HTTPS, access controls, input validation, rate limiting, restricted analytics fields, and hashed return-link tokens. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection, so please do not send information this site does not request.

13. CHILDREN

Campaign Adventure is a business advertising service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy here, change the effective date, and provide additional notice when required by law.
